SABIC® PP 524P is typically used in mono layer or coextruded (B)OPP film. SABIC® PP 524P is known for its excellent metallisation behaviour. SABIC® PP 524P is a low mfi material typically used in extrusion applications like sheet and thermoforming. SABIC® PP 524P is typically used in dairy, flower pots, yellow fats and disposables plates and cups. However, customers use this grade also in combination with fillers like Talc and CaCO3. The product mentioned herein is in particular not tested and therefore not validated for use in pharmaceutical/medical applications. SABIC® PP 524P PP Homopolymer for Bi-axially oriented film PP 524P is a non formulated grade, specially developed for bi-axially oriented PP (BOPP) film extrusion with a very specific molecular structure providing ultimate properties required for the stenter film process. Films produced using PP 524P will exhibit: Consistent processability Excellent optical properties High tensile properties Low residual ash Film produced can be metalized Typical Applications PP 524P can be used as core layer in co-extruded film and/or as base material for plain films used for stationary, dry food bags, synthetic paper and heat sealable packaging films. |
