The raw materials are mainly derived from tropical castor seeds, which do not compete with the food chain. EcoPaXX® belongs to the long-chain polyamide family, offering unparalleled performance even in the most demanding applications, including excellent chemical resistance, very low water absorption, an extremely high melting point (ranked first among bio-based plastics), and a fast crystallization rate (similar to PA66, PA46). Furthermore, EcoPaXX® has been verified to be 100% carbon neutral over its entire life cycle. This means that the amount of CO₂ generated during the production of EcoPaXX can be offset by the amount of CO₂ absorbed during plant growth, as the content of tropical castor seeds in EcoPaXX is as high as 70%.
