This resin is typically used in injection molding applications and offers a very good stiffness/impact balance as well as an excelllent resistance to aging at elevated temperatures in both wet and dry environments. Pro-fax 7624 Profax 7624 is an impact polypropylene copolymer designed for extrusion and injection molding applications; features include good impact resistance at low temperatures, excellent dimensional stability and a good stiffness/impact balance. Profax 7624 has a UL yellow card flammability rating of 94 HB at a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm. Profax 7624 is suitable for use in electric clothes washing machines with respect to laundry detergent and/or bleach exposure and immersion in accordance with UL2157. Profax 7624 is suitable for use with respect to exposure to aqueous dishwasher detergent solution and/or rinse agent solution in accordance with UL749. The base resin in this product meets the requirements of the FDA contained in the Code of Federal Regulations in 21 CFR 177.1520. All ingredients of Pro-fax SE012 meet the chemical registration requirements of TSCA (U.S.) and DSL (Canada). Typical applications include oil well logging cables, data cables and heavier wall insulation.
