Foam made with Bayfill EA 6004 has a relatively low density and ability to recover its shape after impact making it an excellent choice for occupant impact protection above the vehicle beltline. The Bayfill EA 6004 system can be incorporated into vehicle headliners and pillar covers for improved occupant protection in collisions. The Bayfill EA 6004 system is supplied as two components. Component A is a modified polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate blend. Component B is a polyether polyol system. As with any product, use of the Bayfill EA 6004 system in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
