It is used for Hot Melt adhesives. APPLICATIONS Pearlbond™ 121 is mainly used for textile coating for making shoe-stiffeners (toe puffs & counters), by extrusion or sintering process. Pearlbond™ 121 can be used for making heat-sealable fabrics (thermobonding), obtained by coating processes such as scattering or dot-coating (powder or paste). In all cases, the product is previously ground into powder, by cryogenic grinding. The particle size of the powder will depend on the application technique to be used.
