PFA retains many inherent characteristics and similar properties to PTFE but can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques, such as extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, or electrostatic powder coating. Fluon® PFA can be used within a wide temperature range from extremely low temperatures to 260°C maximum without losing its properties. Fluon®PFA is the most suitable material for semiconductor equipment parts, which are in constant contact with strong chemicals.
