HIPLEX® HHM 5502 has good rigidity, hardness, impact strength, environmental stress cracking resistance, and excellent processability. HIPLEX®HHM 5502 is suitable for production of small and medium size containers for packaging of bleach, chemicals and most of detergents. It is not recommended for heavy-duty detergents. HIPLEX® HHM 5502 has Health Certificate issued by Institute for Health Protection of Serbia. Also, HIPLEX®HHM 5502 has Statement of Conformity, which declares product's conformity with the European norms for materials intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Statement of Conformity is issued by Institute for Public Health, Maribor, Slovenia. HB3553 is recommended for use in applications which require a combination of high top load strength and good environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). Osterlene HB3553 meets the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration, 21 CFR Section 177.1520. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in "...articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food." Specific limitations may apply.
